Discover the Weather

Welcome to Weather Awareness with Don Luehrs.  My goal for this site is to pass on weather information and include my thoughts on events as they occur.  Many of you know me through my many years as Chief Meteorologist for WBTW TV-13 in Florence/Myrtle Beach, SC.  My career has since shifted to hospice care, and for the past twelve years I have been a Hospice Liaison for Agape Care.  I love my role as being the facilitator, working to get patients and their families the care they need through working with their doctors and health providers and our five star rated clinical care team.  Weather has stayed a passion of mine and always will.  I am often asked my opinion on the weather, and when big events threaten to occur, the interest sky rockets!  I hope you enjoy this site.  Please always feel free to contact me with any questions relating to weather or hospice.
